WHAT IS A VIRTUAL REAL ESTATE TRANSACTION COORDINATOR?
A virtual real estate transaction coordinator, commonly referred to as TC, is an individual who assists real estate agents or brokers by performing all administrative duties throughout the course of real estate transaction. A TC coordinates and ensures all documents are completed in alignment with broker and state compliance.
ARE THERE ANY PREREQUISITES TO BE A TC?
It is important to check your State’s Real Estate Commission website on requirements for an unlicensed assistant to confirm the state’s prerequisites and requirements. Although most states have no prerequisites requirements for unlicensed assistants/transaction coordinators, there are some states that require transaction coordinators to have a particular license. HOW MUCH SHOULD I CHARGE?
Fees vary from state to state for what TC charge for their services. Also, if you are a licensed agent and operating as a TC, you have the ability to perform more task and charge more for those tasks. Depending upon your states, fees can vary from $250 - $700 per transaction.
